What's the difference?

As different mobile phones come with a varying degree of features, so must also the software that runs on them. As for NavXS, the standard edition is the real deal. However as there are still many phones out there that do not support location based services (GPS) and file system access (used to reduce the amount of map data that needs to be downloaded from the Internet), we provided a slimmed-down edition as well.

The difference is just this: The standard edition can locate itself and cache map data to the file system. The basic edition can not.

If you are unsure of the capabilities of your phone, you can simply try to install the standard edition. If your phone does not support it, it will not let you install it. If this happens, try the basic edition.
